Symposium: Innovate to eliminate tuberculosis

The Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative (TBVI) is organising the Symposium “Innovate to eliminate tuberculosis” on 24 March, the World Tuberculosis Day. The symposium will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels and will involve experts including Dr Jorge Sampaio (UN Special Envoy to Stop TB), Mr Philippe Douste-Blazy (UNITAID chair executive board), Mr John Bowis (former MEP), Mr Tido von Schoen-Angerer (Executive director of the access to essential medicines campaign, Medecins Sans Frontières) and Mr Peter Gondrie (Director of KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation) to discuss recent progress on new and innovative approaches in the fight against tuberculosis.
