African clinical trials get a boost from Networks of Excellence (Nature Medicine)

The year 2010 is taking off very well as the EDCTP-funded Networks of Excellence for Western, Eastern, Central and Southern Africa all have their contracts signed. This means that every sub-Saharan African region has its own network for enhancing the infrastructure and know-how to conduct clinical trials on infectious diseases.
