With a solid background in communication, Ilona joined EDCTP after working as a Communications Advisor for the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board (CBG-MEB). Before that, she worked as a market researcher for corporate websites. She majored in Intercultural Communications and in English Linguistics at the University of Groningen.
