Independent reviewers will be assigned a role as either External Reviewers (ERs) or Scientific Review Committee (SRC) reviewers. All reviewers must read EDCTP’s Policy on Conflict of Interest. External Reviewers perform a one-off assessment of the proposals remotely and will have no further commitment beyond this. SRC reviewers will complete an assessment form remotely and will then be expected to attend an SRC meeting at the EDCTP Secretariat in The Hague. They will also be expected to assist with the review of the annual reports of any successful projects that they have reviewed. All reviewers receive an honorarium for their involvement.
