Administrative Officer & HR Assistant

Nancy Kensmil was born in Surinam, but was raised and educated in the US and Belgium. She completed her secondary education in Surinam, and moved to The Netherlands to attend university there. She attended Leiden University and earned a degree in Labour and Organisational Psychology as well as a degree in English Language and Literature, specializing in American Studies. After having graduated from university, she gained experience in various fields, such as executive recruitment, market research and (software) translation. Prior to joining EDCTP, she worked in the field of recruitment and staffing. She worked as a Staffing Consultant at Randstad Netherlands for 4 years. She joined EDCTP in May 2011 as an Administrative Officer & HR Assistant, a position in which she is responsible for carrying out administrative and operational tasks, as well as specific HR and personnel related tasks.
