Prior to the launch of a new Call for Proposals, EDCTP may hold a stakeholder meeting on thematic topics which may form the basis of the Call for Proposals.
Purpose
The purpose of the Stakeholder meeting is to deliberate on the current situation in the field, to identify the key research areas and barrier to progress, and to consolidate these discussions and ideas into EDCTP strategy for supporting research in this area. A Call for Proposals is developed on the basis of these discussions and recommendations.
Participants
Key stakeholders including researchers, scientists, policy makers, representatives of product development partnerships (PDPs), pharmaceutical companies and other like-minded organisations are represented at the meeting. Attendance is by invitation.
