Prior to the launch of a new Call for Proposals, EDCTP will normally hold a stakeholder meeting on thematic topics which form the basis of the Call for Proposals.

Purpose
The purpose of these meetings is to deliberate on the current situation in the field, to identify the problems and areas requiring attention, and to consolidate ideas on the way forward including on what areas EDCTP should focus its attention. It is on the basis of these recommendations that a Call for Proposals is developed.

Participants
All key stakeholders including researchers, scientists, and representatives of product development partnerships (PDPs), pharmaceutical companies and other like-minded organisations are invited to attend.
