Capacity development to facilitate delivery and uptake of new or improved medical interventions in African health systems – 2018

The purpose of this call for proposals is to support projects that will facilitate the translation results from research results on medical interventions against poverty-related infectious diseases into policies and practices for national health programmes. Proposals addressing the following activities were particularly encouraged: 1) development of methodological tools for translation of research into policies and practices for public health programmes; 2) optimising strategies for widespread adoption and institutionalisation of research results within public health systems; 3) successful adoption of one or more products coming out of previously-funded EDCTP grant(s) by national health policies.
