Hotel Information The Scandic Sergel Plaza is in an excellent city centre location, close to transport, shopping, sights and major attractions. Transport to the airport, and Central Station are only 300 metres away, and the Underground system is only 100 metres away. The hotel can be reached from the airport by a direct train, or a shuttle bus from the airport. The main venue at the Swedish Medical Association is a five minute walk from the hotel, literally just around the corner. The hotel has high speed internet access free of charge, and there are no usage restrictions. This Easy Access system is available in 20% of all rooms in each room category, and in all conference rooms. Users require a WLAN card to use the Easy Access system, but there is also an Easy Access point in the hotel with fixed computers and facilities for guests without the WLAN card. There are 403 rooms in the hotel, ranging from Economy to Suites. EDCTP has booked 180 standards rooms for the conference guests to ensure that there will be enough space for all visitors. EDCTP will be responsible for hotel costs of Constituencies, Secretariat staff and persons in receipt of bursaries. Other participants should book their rooms through EDCTP who have a special agreement with the hotel regarding the costs for the rooms, but pay the costs directly with the hotel.
