On Tuesday night, Forum delegates were treated to an exciting entertainment programme offered by the Forum’s local host, the National Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) of Tanzania. The dancers of the JKT/JWTZ Group took the attention of the delegates off their plates and onto the dance floor, and most likely inspired some of the dancing moves exercised directly after dinner.

One of the stickiest areas in research in Africa is the legal ownership of research results. For that reason, a satellite meeting on the subject was held to sensitise African researchers and to identify needs in order for funders to better align their funding strategies and policies.
