This project seeks to set up the ADILI Bioethics Centre at Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) to build capacity in ethics training for both members of the ethics review committees and for investigators at the institute. The aim is to establish an independent bioethics unit at KEMRI which is appropriately staffed, trained, resourced, and entrenched within KEMRI’s structures to oversee the ethical review process at the institute.
