This project will enable the chairs of ethics review committees as well as other leaders in the field of research ethics in Africa to identify and explore the current issues in ethics review. The exploration of these concepts will be used as the basis for an African textbook of ethics review to assist African ethics review members in their important task of protecting research participants.
