The aim of this project is to build the capacity of local researchers and research participants. It will enhance understanding of the research community in Malawi, including researchers within and out of the College, faculty and students, on human subject’s protection in research. This will improve compliance to human subjects’ protection from proposal development through Good Clinical Practice and regulatory compliance in clinical research. It will also enhance knowledge and understanding of communities (research participants) on matters of human subject’s protection. This will improve the informed consent process, protection of research participants and study recruitment and compliance.
