EDCTP Financial and Project Management Training

EDCTP Director of Finance and Administration, Abdoulie Barry, and the Director of North-North Cooperation, Dr Ole Olesen, will conduct again a financial and project management training in Johannesburg, South Africa, for finance and project management personnel of EDCTP-funded projects. The training will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa on 7 and 8 March 2017.

The main objectives of this workshop are to help participants improve their understanding of:

• key financial management terms and principles
• the internal control and risk management implications of some of the decisions they take
• the importance of putting in place sound financial management systems

and to equip participants with skills and knowledge on how to effectively and efficiently manage collaborative projects with multiple international collaborators.
