Scientific Advisory Committee
The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) is an advisory panel of independent scientific experts from Europe and Africa. It is the main advisory body to the General Assembly and the Secretariat.
Scientific advise
Working with the Secretariat, the SAC develops the strategic framework for EDCTP and advises the General Assembly on technical and scientific matters relating to the EDCTP programme.
The SAC is not involved in the review of applications submitted to EDCTP calls for proposals.

EDCTP Strategic Research Agenda
The Scientific Advisory Committee advises the EDCTP Executive Secretariat on the preparation of the EDCTP Strategic Research Agenda This document is used by the Secretariat in the preparation of the proposed annual EDCTP work programme which is then submitted to the General Assembly for approval.
