Gabon: Workshop on grant proposal writing

EDCTP will organise a grant proposal writing workshop in Libreville, Gabon from 14-16 October 2019. The workshop is aimed at French-speaking scientists from sub-Saharan Africa in early stages of their career. The objectives of the workshop are to deliver hands-on and practical sessions on grant proposal writing, and inform researchers about EDCTP funding opportunities. Participants come from 13 African countries and have been competitively selected.

Participation at this workshop is independent from any EDCTP call for proposals and does not guarantee funding from EDCTP at a later stage.

The workshop is organised by EDCTP in collaboration with the African Research Excellence Fund (AREF). EDCTP staff involved are Dr Ole Olesen (Director of International Cooperation for Europe) and Ana Lúcia Weinberg (Strategic Partnerships Officer).
