Neglected infectious diseases: report of the EDCTP stakeholder meeting

The report of the EDCTP stakeholder meeting on neglected infectious diseases (NIDs) is published today. On 27-28 June 2013, EDCTP held a meeting on NIDs as part of the preparations for the second EDCTP programme. The meeting was hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The information from the meeting will contribute towards the EDCTP strategic and operational business plan. It is recognised that the field of NIDs is broad and that this stakeholder meeting was not exhaustive. The NIDs list adopted by the World Health Organization was used as point of reference for this meeting.
