Save the date: Seventh EDCTP Forum in Berlin, Germany, 30 June-2 July 2014
The European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) has rescheduled its Seventh Forum. The event will now be held in Berlin, Germany from 30 June to 2 July 2014. The theme for this Forum is The Partnership journey: New horizon for better health. The Forum is co-hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It will be followed by a one day EDCTP Stakeholder meeting on Capacity Development. Information regarding the Forum programme and registrations will be available by end of January 2014.
Forum format and participation
The Seventh EDCTP Forum in Berlin expects to host a maximum of 300 participants. Participation at the Forum will be by invitation only. The Forum programme will mainly focus on oral presentations by researchers involved in EDCTP-funded projects that were already peer reviewed. This Forum will not accommodate poster presentations.
Venue and accommodation
The Forum will be held at the Maritim proArte Hotel in Berlin, Germany. Information regarding accommodation for delegates and the various options will be published on the Forum website.

Background
This Forum replaces the Seventh EDCTP Forum that was initially planned to take place in Dakar, Senegal from 21-24 October 2013. The event was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances when the Senegalese government was forced to host the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Heads of State summit at the venue that was meant for the EDCTP Forum.
