BCA-WA ETHICS II: Third scientific congress on research ethics during COVID-19
Between 22 and 25 March 2022, the BCA-WA ETHICS II project organised its third scientific congress on research ethics during the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference was attended by 40 African and European scientists, bioethicists, and gender experts representing 11 different countries and National Research Ethics Committees. The contributions and exchanges highlighted the need for capacity-building in research ethics review and regional harmonisation of health research evaluation, particularly during health emergencies.
